Rooms

Both our rooms have private bathrooms with robes provided. Colour TV, tea & coffee, hairdryer, clock radio and a box of little items you may find useful items like cotton buds and sewing kit etc. An iron and ironing board are also available.

The downstairs double room has a pocket sprung comfy king-size bed with a wash hand basin. This room is ideal for those unable to manage stairs. This room has a private shower room with WC and basin.

The upstairs room is a twin with its own private bathroom having a bath with shower bidet, basin and WC.

Dining Room

Breakfast is served in the light and airy dining room or on warm summer mornings on the patio overlooking the garden. The breakfast table is laden with freshly prepared seasonal fruits, yoghurts, cereals, fruit juice, assorted teas and freshly brewed coffee. Deborah's home-made marmalade and healthy home mixed muesli are a popular addition to the table. Whilst all this is being enjoyed a freshly cooked hot breakfast of your choice will be prepared for you. Wherever possible we use local produce from the New Forest. Special diets can be catered for on request.

Outside

Whilst enjoying breakfast bird lovers can watch the coming and goings of a variety of New Forest birds including nuthatch’s, great spotted woodpeckers, various members of the tit family and many more as they enjoy their food from the feeders around the garden . The green woodpecker is an occasional visitor and can be seen strutting across the lawn searching for a meal and occasionally sparrow hawks also looking for an easy meal!! Binoculars and telescopes are available for guests use.

Peace and tranquillity can be found in our half acre of delightfully mature garden which is perfect for relaxing in after a day out sightseeing or exploring the forest: plenty of seats and benches provide different vistas to enjoy the calm and to watch the varied birds that visit or relax or immerse yourselves in a good book.

Deborah & Richard really enjoy gardening and are members of the local village gardening club. They love to walk around their garden with guests talking plants and flowers.

We have direct access to the forest for walking, cycle paths and bridleways & plenty of safe parking and bike storage.

Swimming Pool

The heated pool is open through summer months. Guests are invited to use it at their own risk for a refreshing swim before breakfast maybe or on their return from sightseeing. There are plenty of loungers to relax with a drink or a book. Please bring your own swimming towels.
